How to Install dx software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

dx software package provides OpenDX (IBM Visualization Data Explorer) - main package, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dx 

dx is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dx package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dx *

You will get with dx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
